About Beautiful Birth
At Beautiful Birth classes are designed to prepare you for a beautiful birth experience. Our classes cover everything from childbirth basics to advanced techniques for managing labor. We find it very important to educate the parents on the physiology and the psychology of preparing for labor and child rearing. Classes include exercises, nutrition information, relaxation techniques, coaching support, what to expect from your body, post partum and breastfeeding support. we believe that every family deserves access to comprehensive and integrative childbirth education. Our mission is to cultivate confidence, calm & inner connection. With experienced instructors and a wealth of resources, we provide a nurturing environment for all expectant parents to learn and grow.
Beautiful Birth is a way of thinking. A belief that woman are strong and capable. She is a lioness, fiercely protective of her young, strong in every sense of the word, courageous when the need arises, she cowers at nothing and takes the challenge of providing for and protecting her family with laser sharp determination and focus. If you were to gaze at her in rest you would see perfection, majesty, power and vibrancy.
As a lioness is not alone in a pride we too must not isolate ourselves during pregnancy, labor, delivery and child rearing. We must stand together as a cohesive unit, a pride, support each other, learn from one another and when necessary defend the pride together, as strong, capable women.
It is my hearts desire to instill in you a sense of calm, confidence and inner connection to your body as it undergoes ‘the dance of the ages’ laboring to bring life into the world then striving to sustain the very life you begat. The information presented in this course is designed to enhance your understanding and build confidence in the natural processes of pregnancy/labor and delivery.
I hope to empower all women with the knowledge that labor is natural and the process is designed by a caring God. Pregnancy and labor/delivery is not a disease or condition to be afraid of, on the contrary, it requires knowledge, informed decision making, and trust. A woman must trust her body is designed for this. She can fully understand the process and work with her body from a place of confidence and strength instead of fear and anxiety. She can know what her body is capable of and revel in the wonder of it as it unfolds. Every woman has the ability to consciously affect the outcome of childbirth and to chose to glorify the maker of heaven and earth.
There is an understanding that we are not alone in this journey, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. For by the hands of a personal and loving God, women will deliver life into the world in a way that is natural, effective and a beautiful witness to the awesomeness of a powerful, all knowing God. A woman’s body is uniquely designed for this purpose.
Beautiful birth is a safe gathering place where we empower expectant mothers with the knowledge they need to make informed choices concerning their bodies and their beautiful birth experience.
